Tungsten Diameter Selection
Description
Each tungsten size has preset starting parameters specific to that diameter for optimized starting. Range
is 0.020 in. to 1/8 in. or 0.5 mm to 3.2 mm. To manually set starting parameters, see Section 15.
Output Trigger Mode Functions
See Section 10-4 to reconfigure RMT functions.
Arc Starting Method Selection
Description
Provides additional amperage while striking the electrode to prevent the electrode from sticking.
No additional starting amperage to assist in starting the electrode.

5 Amperage Adjustment Control
To access the User Setup menu, press and
hold the Amperage (A) and the Gas/DIG but-
tons until [USER] [MENU] is displayed. To
scroll through the user menu functions, press
and release the Gas/DIG button.
Rotate amperage adjustment control to ad-
just parameter setting.

Parameter automatically returns to am-
perage setting 15 seconds after amper-
age adjustment control is inactive.
To exit user menu, press Amperage and Gas/
DIG buttons at the same time and then re-
lease, or turn power off.
