SYSTEM CONFIGURATION ARCHIVE
The System Configuration Archive (SCA) (see
Figure
2-3) is controlled by SNMP or screen
selections to save provisioning information for the Total Access 1240 to a remote TFTP server
for possible system restoration at a later time. In addition to its use for fast recovery of provi-
sioning information, the SCA system can be used to "clone" baseline configurations to new
installations so that only a few specific provisions need to be altered, significantly reducing
initial setup time.
