Operator Action
Press the Cal key to initiate the calibration process. If
the error message persists, verify that the rear optical
path is free of obstructions, clean the Imaging Guides,
and replace both the Front Lamp and the Rear Lamp .
Note the documents that have been assigned an
Image Level of 0. The Image Address is automatically
set to the correct address, but verify the Image
Address and Image Level, and then rescan the 0
Level documents. If the operator does not have
access to the Image Header to determine which
documents were assigned an Image Level of 0, then
contact the system administrator to determine the last
image that was transferred to the host. If the error
message persists, contact the system administrator.
System Administrator Action
If required, view the Image Header and determine
which documents were assigned an Image Level of 0
and must be rescanned. Verify correct operation. If
the error message persists, call service.
Operator Action
Press the Jog key to remove the Calibration Target
from the transport system. Press the Cal key and try
the calibration process again. If the error message
persists, verify that the front optical path is free of
obstructions, and clean the Imaging Guides. Press
the Cal key and try the calibration process again. If
the error message is displayed again, replace both
the Front Lamp and the Rear Lamp (duplex scanners
only), and press the Cal key to initiate the calibration
process once again. If the error message persists,
contact the system administrator.
System Administrator Action
Verify correct operation. If the error message persists,
call service.
