Intake Restrictor Position


An intake restrictor is built into the appliance to allow for adjustment to the flow rate of intake air into
the firebox. Most vent configurations will use position #1. Position #2 is only recommended for
vertical vent runs that exceed 10.5 meters in height. See below for details about changing the intake
restrictor position.
a. Remove the burner and
the media tray skirt.
b. Use a ¼" nut driver to
remove the (4) screws
that secure the media
tray to the log grate.
Remove the media tray
from the fireplace (set
the media tray and
screws aside for
reinstallation).
