Carefully align the sides of the FEB with the guides inside the chassis.

Carefully slide the FEB into the chassis, ensuring that it is correctly aligned.

Grasp both ejector handles and press them inward to seat the FEB.

Tighten the captive screws on the ejector handles.

Press the offline/online button until the green

To verify that the FEB is functioning normally, check the LEDs on its faceplate. The

green LED should light steadily a few minutes after the FEB is installed. If the

LED is lit steadily, remove and install the FEB again (see
page 255). If the FAIL LED still lights steadily, the FEB is not functioning properly. Contact
your customer support representative.
To check the status of the FEBs, issue the following CLI command:
user@host> show chassis environment feb
