3-20 ENGINE
• Remove the cam chain 3.
• Hold the generator rotor with the special tool and remove the
primary drive gear nut 4.

The primary drive nut has left-hand threads.
 09930-44521: Rotor holder
• Remove the washer 5, key 6, primary drive gear 7,
sprocket key (L-shape) 8 and cam chain drive sprocket 9.
GENERATOR
• Hold the generator rotor with the special tool and remove the
generator rotor nut 1.
