INSPECTION

Inspect the shock absorber body and bushings for damage and
oil leakage. If any defects are found, replace the shock absorber
with a new one.

Do not attempt to disassemble the rear shock
absorber. It is unserviceable.

INSTALLATION

• Install the rear shock absorber 1.
• Tighten the rear shock absorber nuts to the specified torque.
 Rear shock absorber nut: 29 N·m (2.9 kgf-m, 21.0 lbf-ft)
• Check the rear suspension for proper operation.

REAR SUSPENSION SETTING

The rear shock absorber spring preload is adjustable.
After installing the rear shock absorber, adjust the spring
adjuster 1.
 Spring adjuster: 3/5 position
