CYLINDER HEAD/CAM CHAIN GUIDE
• Install the cam chain guide 1.

When installing the cam chain guide, check that the
chain is properly engaged with the crankshaft
sprocket.
• Install the dowel pin and cylinder head gasket 2.

Use new gasket to prevent gas leakage.
• Install the cylinder head 3.
• Tighten the cylinder head nuts to the specified torque diago-
nally.
 Cylinder head nut: 37 N·m (3.7 kgf-m, 27.0 lbf-ft)
CAMSHAFT
• Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise, and align the line A on
the generator rotor with the mark B on the generator cover
while keeping the cam chain pulled upward.
• Install the locating pin 1 and dowel pin 2 into the camshaft.
