BREAK-IN

There is never a more important period in the
life of your machine than the Break-In period.
For the first 10 hours, approximately 200 km
(125 miles), do not put an excessive load on the
engine. Avoid prolonged full throttle operation.
Also avoid lugging the engine, such as ex-
tended operation in wet snow.
Premix gasoline and oil
To ensure proper engine break-in, use a 50 : 1
fuel/oil mixture when filling the fuel tank of a
new machine for the first time.
1 Gasoline
2 Oil
For example:
Mix 0.2 L of oil with 10 L of gas (or 2.6 ounces of
oil with one gallon of gas).
Recommended fuel:
Unleaded gasoline
Pump Octane
Research Octane; 93
(for Europe)
Fuel tank capacity:
Total:
31 L (6.8 Imp gal, 8.2 US gal)
Recommended oil:
YAMALUBE 2-cycle oil
Oil tank capacity:
2.5 L (2.2 Imp qt, 2.6 US qt)
WARNING
D Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous.
D Make sure that the fuel tank cap is closed
securely after refueling. Leaking fuel can
catch fire.
