5. Measure the V-belt height.
Make sure secondary clutch is all the way to-
gether before measure V-belt height a .
Standard V-belt height
(Below sheave surface) a :
0 X 2 mm (0 X 0.08 in)
6. If the height is incorrect, adjust the V-belt
height by spacer 4 .
V-belt width
A
35 mm (1.38 in) or more
B 34 mm (1.34 in)
C
33 mm (1.30 in)
32 mm (1.25 in) or less
7. Install the secondary clutch.
8. Install the drive V-belt guard.
WARNING
Never run the engine without the drive V-belt
or with the drive V-belt guard removed.
