Mounting bolt (front) (rear) 2 :
53 Nm (5.3 mSkg, 38 ftSlb)
6. Adjust:
S Sheave offset
Adjustment steps:
D Apply the brake to lock the secondary
sheave.
D Remove the bolt (secondary sheave) and
secondary sheave 1 .
D Adjust the sheave offset by adding or remov-
ing shim(s) 2 .
Adding shim – Offset is increased.
Removing shim – Offset is decreased.

D Install the secondary sheave and bolt (sec-
ondary sheave).
Bolt (secondary sheave):
60 Nm (6.0 mSkg, 43 ftSlb)
D Recheck the sheave offset. If out specifica-
tion, repeat the above steps.
NOTE:
When adjusting the sheave offset, the second-
ary sheave free play (clearance) should be ad-
justed.
7. Measure:
S Secondary sheave free play (clearance)
c Use a feeler gauge.
Out of specification ! Adjust.
