9. SETTING LIMIT SWITCH OUTPUT DATA

*1 The point sort operation called by pressing the
[SI
key, must
be executed limit switch ON/OFF pattern setting.
Pressing the [FlO] key without pressing the
[SI
key causes
the 'PLEASE SORT POINT' message to be displayed.
If an attempt is made to change the mode by pressing the [Fl]
to [F4] key or the [CAN] key before pressing the
[SI
key, the
"POINT SORTED?' message is displayed. In this case, press-
ing the [Fl] to [F4] key or the [F8] key will change the mode;
the previous limit switch ON/OFF patterns remain unchanged.
Always execute the point sort operation by pressing the
[SI
key after correcting/deleting point addresses.
* 2 If an attempt is made to change the mode by pressing the [ F l ]
to [F4] key, the [F8] key, or the [CAN] key before registering
the limit switch ON/OFF pattern by pressing the [F9] key, the
'STORED?' message is displayed.
In this case, pressing the
[Fl]
to [F4] key or the [F8] key will
change the mode; the previous limit switch
ON/OFF pattern
remains unchanged.

Limit switch ON/OFF point address
(a) Point addresses can be set only when the [ADD SET] key is
highlighted.
Press the [F8] key to highlight the [ADD SET] key.
(b) Point addresses can be set within the MIN-MAX range for up
to ten points.
(c) The point address setting range varies depending
on the
control units (mm, inches, degrees, pulses) set for the fixed
parameter UNIT SETTING (Section
7.1.1).

[CR]:
The point address value is displayed
in the ADDRESS column
for the point next to the cursor.
After an address value is set, the cursor moves to the next
point address setting line.
Pressing the [CR] key while the cursor is on the tenth point
causes the cursor to return to the first point.
Use the [
f ]
or [
111
key to move the cursor to the required
point.
