6. TEST OPERATIONS (TEST MODE)

Starting Up The Servo
The term 'servo startup' indicates the processing
to check the
positioning data and the connections between the
A73CPU system
and the MR-SB servo amplifier.
The items checked during servo startup are listed below:
Servo amplifier installation conditions
The axis number setting of the servo amplifier connected to the
A70SF and the emergency stop input are checked.
Initial check
Any servo errors occurring with the connected servo amplifier are
monitored.
Type name check
The servo amplifier and the motor specifications
of the desig-
nated axis are checked.
Rotation direction check
The start conditions and rotation direction of the designated axis
are checked by inching the servo motor (1/120 turn).
FLS/RLS check*
FLS/RLS operation is checked b y executing jog operation for the
designated axis in the forward direction (addresses increasing)
and the reverse direction (addresses decreasing).
Motor speed check
Whether the motor rotates at a speed lower than the parameter
set speed is checked by operating the motor
at the maximum
velocity set in the servo program.
Only the item indicated by an asterisk
(*) is possible when the
general-purpose servo amplifier is used.
