Note: If you are installing more than one battery cabinet, perform this step only
for the last battery cabinet on either end of the line up (only one end will be
wired to the UPS).
Note: If you are using a wall-mounted battery disconnect (optional), see Table
G on page 57 to determine the wiring needed between the battery cabinets and
the UPS. Then skip to step 5 below.
Figure 22. (See Table R on page A-6 for lug sizes.) Route both cables to
terminals E4 and DS of the UPS in either of these ways:
Through the top entry location (identified in Drawing 164206263-7 on

page A- 16)
Through the bottom entry location (see Drawing 164266263-7 for the

bottom entry routing hole location)
4. See Figure 3 on page 11 to locate TB3 in the UPS cabinet. If TB3 is supplied,
connect two control wires to it and route the wires through the battery cabinet
top or bottom entry to TBI. See Table L on page A-2 for wiring speci6cations.

After making sure that the battery breaker (see Figure 22 on page 36 for
location) is in the OFF position, connect the battery strings in the battery cabinet
by mating all disconnected battery drawer connectors to the closest string
connectors.
Mount the right side panel (removed in step 1
cabinet") to the right side of the end battery cabinet:

Hang the right side panel on the hanger bracket and align it with the
front and rear
