ADF Life Test

This test continuously feeds pages as long paper is present in the ADF tray.
To perform this test:
1.
Load documents into the ADF.
2.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to ADF Life Test.
3.
The documents are fed through the ADF.

When all pages have been fed, follow the instructions on the display.

Copy Life Test Mono

This test continuously runs standalone mono copies. The print settings will depend on the settings saved before
entering the maintenance menus.
To perform this test:
1.
Load paper into the paper tray.
2.
Load a document on the scanner glass.
3.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Copy Life Test Mono.

Touch

Copy Life Test Color

This test continuously runs standalone color copies. The print settings will depend on the settings saved before
entering the maintenance menus.
To perform this test:
1.
Load paper into the paper tray.
2.
Load a document on the scanner glass.
3.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Copy Life Test Color.
4.
Touch

Head Install Prime

This option initiates a head install prime and is only intended for a new printhead.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Head Install Prime.
2.
The result appears on the display.
3.
Touch

Sensor Tests

These tests are used to verify if the paper tray sensors are working properly.

Tray[x] Paper Low Sensor Test

Note: This test appears as Tray[x] Paper Sensor Test in the Manufacturing Test menu.
To perform this test:
1.
From the Manufacturing Test menu, navigate to Tray[x] Paper Sensor Test.
2.
Load paper into the tray.
to cancel the test and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
to cancel the test and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
to cancel the test and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
or to cancel the test and return to the Manufacturing Test menu.
