14.9.2 Inspection of the gas solenoid valve
Prerequisite 1. Unit dead.
Preparing to measure the
pressure

Check fuse F1 on the transformer.
The fuse has blown.
Replace fuse. Repeat test and replace glow electrode if
necessary.
Check supply voltage at the transformer.
No voltage present = Check neutral conductor. Replace
transformer.
Voltage present = Replace ignition electronics.
Ionization electrode
On the Service menu, select the Gas CO
•
Only begin troubleshooting when Gas request lights up green.
monitoring (d) must be at least 3 µA. In addition to the ionization
electrode, the ignition electronics (a) can also be the cause of the
error.

2. On-site gas supply shut off.
3. Left side wall removed.
4. Unscrew the sealing screw of the pressure measurement nozzle
(OUT) on the gas solenoid valve.
5. Connect the gas pressure measurement device. Switch on digital
measurement device before connecting! The precision of the
magnetic valve should be at least 0.1 mbar.
Conducting the test
Switch the on-site gas supply back on.
