Thermal Fuse Removal and Replacement

When the range temperature reaches the maximum temperature
threshold, the thermal fuse breaks the electrical circuit in order to
protect the electronics from abnormally high heat conditions.
Some model ranges have thermal fuses installed, while other models
do not, as they are protected from adverse heat conditions by cavity
venting.
Thermal fuses are installed at the back of the range.
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information, documentation,
and the correct part number when replacing this component.
