The Dump Formatter is used to format the information contained
on the dump diskette into a readable form. The information can be
directed to the display, the printer, or to a file.
If the dump program finds a problem, the dump formatter gives
header information describing the problem.
The dump formatter can run in batch or interactive mode. For a
complete description of the dumpfmt command see

1. To run the dump formatter and produce only the header
information, type the command:
dumpfmt -h
ENTER.
2. Press
3. Report the problem to your service representative if you have
not already done so. The header information may be required.
