A-20 AIX Operating System Problem Determination Guide
Use hd to display data residing on a fixed disk or diskette.
Format:
hd devaddr sec#l sec#2 -p
Flags:
- p
Use this option to send the data to the printer instead of
the display.
Param eters:
devaddr
This specifies the device that contains the data.
sec#l
This specifies the first sector of data to be displayed.
sec#2
This specifies the last sector of data to be displayed.
Use hdf to display the contents of an AIX file.
Format:
h d f A lX n a m e <fromoffset <tooffset» -p
Flags:
This option sends the data to the printer instead of the
display.
