Making the electrical connection

B Only suitably qualified electricians are
permitted to carry out electrical work.
B Before opening an appliance: Isolate it
across all poles from the mains power
supply and safeguard it against unin-
tentional reconnection.
B Observe all installation instructions.
7.7.1 Connecting the mains power supply and
other components
B Undo two screws on the end cover.
B Remove the end cover upwards.
B Remove the rear boiler cover. To do this, remove the
fixing screws.
B Release two screws on the control unit cover and re-
move it.
Create a permanent mains power connection in accor-
dance with local regulations.
RISK OF FIRE
Hot boiler components may damage elec-
trical cables/leads.
B Make sure that all cables/leads are
routed through the cable guides provi-
ded or along the boiler insulation mate-
rial.
B Route all cables through the cable entries to the con-
trol unit and connect in accordance with the wiring di-
agram.
Secure all cables with cable clamps (control unit stan-
dard delivery):
B Insert the cable clamp together with the cable from
the top into the slots on the frame (step 1).
B Push cable clamp down (step 2).
B Push against the clamp (step 3).
B Flip the toggle up (step 4).
