Switching on the heating system

B Set the dial for "Maximum boiler temperature" and
the dial for "DHW target temperature" to 0.
This ensures that the burner will not start yet (there is no
heat demand).
B Set the On/Off switch on the base controller to posi-
tion "1".
The entire heating system is switched on. During com-
missioning, "-" briefly flashes on the display; immediate-
ly afterwards the fault message "6Y" appears on the
display. Fault message "6Y" appears as the burner is
supplied in its fault state.
B Wait approx. 1 minute until the EMS connection to
the RC30 or RC35 programming unit has been ma-
de.
B Press the "Reset" button on the BC10. The status
display on the BC10 lights up and the display shows
the current boiler water temperature in °C.
If fault message "A11" appears, set the date and time at
the RC30 or RC35 programming unit. Only then will the
current boiler water temperature be displayed.
Prior to any further commissioning steps, set the correct
parameters at the RC30 or RC35 programming units.
In particular the DHW configuration (DHW circulation
pump with 3-way valve or heating circuit pump and cy-
linder primary pump) must be adjusted correctly to safe-
guard the correct function of the heating system. For
this, read the relevant chapters in the installation and
service instructions of the RC30 or RC35 carefully.
