VII. SERVICE DIAGNOSIS
1. NO ICE PRODUCTION
PROBLEM
[1] The icemaker a) Power Source
will not start.
b) Power Cord
c) Fuse
d) Bin Control
e) High Pressure
f) Transformer
g) Wiring to
h) Thermistor
i) Hot Gas
j) Controller Board
[2] Compressor a) Pressure Switch
will not start, or
operates
intermittently.
b) Water Regulator
CHECK
1. OFF position.
2. Loose connections.
3. Bad contacts.
1. Loose connection.
2. Open circuit - damaged.
1. Blown out.
1. Tripped with Bin filled
with ice.
2. Out of position.
3. Fused contacts.
1. Bad contacts.
Control
1. Coil winding opened.
1. Loose connections or
Controller Board open.
1. Leads short-circuit or
open and High
Temperature Safety
(Backup Timer) operates.
1. Continues to open in
Solenoid Valve freeze cycle and High
Temperature Safety
(Backup Timer) operates.
1. Defective.
1. Dirty Air Filter or
Condenser.
2. Ambient or condenser
water temperature too
warm (water-cooled).
3. Condenser water
pressure too low or OFF
(water-cooled).
4. Water Regulating Valve
set too high (water-
cooled).
5. Fan not rotating.
6. Refrigerant overcharged.
7. Refrigerant line or
components plugged.
8. Bad contacts.
9. Loose connections.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

1. Move to ON position.
