Replacing the Cordless Handset Batteries

Like any other battery, the rechargeable batteries will eventually wear out. The
batteries can normally be used for about two years, although this will vary
depending on the conditions of use.
If you find that
the batteries are charged, replace them with the following batteries:
Replacement batteries: Use only 1.2 V Ni-MH batteries with a capacity of
630 mAh (min. of 600 mAh; type AAA).
Caution:
Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.
Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Remove the battery cover by pressing
on the indentation as shown.

Remove the old batteries.

Insert the new batteries.
