15) As seen in Figure 7-38, the aircraft is approaching
TOD. Note the target vertical speed required to
reach the selected altitude. The Vertical Deviation
Indicator (VDI) and the Required Vertical Speed
Indicator (RVSI) are now displayed on the PFD as
shown in Figure 7-39.

16) Upon reaching TOD, a descent vertical speed is
established which places the VSI pointer in line
with the RVSI as shown in Figure 7-40.

17) When the aircraft is one minute from the bottom
of descent (BOD) this is annunciated as shown
in Figure 7-41. Upon reaching the OPSHN offset
waypoint (three miles before OPSHN), the aircraft
will be at 10,000 feet.
