If the data have not been properly restored, the following messages will appear on the LCD screen. In
this case, turn the power OFF, and then check the items below. After confirming and solving the
problem, restore the data again from the beginning.

USB DEVICE NOT DETECTED
INVALID BACKUP FILE
INVALID MFP SERIAL NUMBER The entered serial number is
NO BACKUP FILE EXISTS
BACKUP FILE CORRUPTED
INVALID PASSWORD
RESTORE FAILED RESTART

A USB device has not been
connected.
No backup file is stored in the
USB device.

Measures
Reconnect the USB device.
Check the USB device and
perform the backup procedure
again.
Check if the serial number is
correct.
Check the backup data
(product code) and the model
name.
Perform the backup procedure
again.
Check if the password is
correct.
Perform the restore procedure
