Command Interpreter Mode
31.1
The Command Interpreter (CI) is a part of the main router firmware. The CI provides much of the
same functionality as the SMT, while adding some low-level setup and diagnostic functions.
Enter the CI from the SMT by selecting menu 24.8. Access can be by Telnet or by a serial
connection to the console port, although some commands are only available with a serial
connection. See the included disk or nortelnetworks.com for more detailed information on CI
commands. Enter 8 from Menu 24 - System Maintenance.
Use of undocumented commands or misconfiguration can damage the unit and
