Problem
The yellow tyre pressure

monitor* warning lamp is
on.
The red seat belt warning

lamp lights up after you
start the engine as soon
as the driver's door or
front-passenger door is
closed.
The red seat belt warning
lamp flashes after the en-
gine is started and you
hear an intermittent
warning signal.
The yellow segment dis-
play for the fuel tank is lit
while the vehicle is in mo-
tion.

Possible cause/consequence
The tyre pressure monitor has detected a
sudden or significant pressure loss in at
least one of the tyres.

Risk of injury
The driver or front passenger has not fas-
tened his/her seat belt.

Risk of injury
You or your front passenger are not wear-
ing a seat belt and you are driving faster
than 25 km/h or you have briefly exceed-
ed a speed of 25 km/h.
The fuel level has fallen below the reserve
mark.
Suggested solutions
Stop the vehicle without making any sud-
den steering or braking manoeuvres. Pay
attention to the traffic conditions.
Observe the additional messages in the
multi-function display.
Fasten your seat belt ( page 274).
The warning lamp goes out.

switched off.
Refuel at the nearest filling station.
