During the character selection procedure
described below, list entry 1 always
shows a category that most closely match-
es the current input string.
COMAND then automatically adds plausi-
ble characters 3 to those already entered
by the user 2 to complete a special desti-
nation name.
To select a character: slide
turn ymz.
To confirm the character selection:
press n.
To delete individual characters: se-
lect ) in the bottom line and press n.
To delete an entire entry: select ) in
the bottom line and press and hold n
until the entire entry has been deleted.
To cancel an entry: select "Back" in
the bottom line and press n.

COMAND navigation system* (special destination entry)
Press the L back button.
If COMAND is able to assign the characters
entered unambiguously to a specific cate-
gory, input characters 6 disappear. You
will see the main category list without in-
put characters. Here you can make anoth-
er selection.
It is also possible to change to the main
or category list without input characters man-
omp
ually at any time during character input.
To change manually to the main cat-
egory list without input characters:
slide qm.

Select ? in the second to bottom line
and press n.
