Setting the easy-entry/exit feature
You can use the "Easy-entry/exit feature"
function to set the easy-entry/exit feature
( page 263).
You can select:
"Off", the function is switched off
or turn
"Steering column", the steering wheel
swings upwards
"Steering column and seat"*, the steer-
ing wheel swings upwards and the driv-
"Exte-
er's seat moves backwards
or

Risk of injury
Make sure that nobody can become trapped
when you activate the easy-entry/exit fea-
ture.
If there is risk of entrapment, stop the ad-
justment procedure. To do this, press:
the steering column switch
( page 268)
the memory button ( page 270)
the seat adjustment switch
( page 259)
The steering column and driver's seat stop
immediately.
Never leave children unsupervised in the ve-
hicle. They could open the driver's door and
thereby unintentionally activate the easy-
entry/exit feature and become trapped as a
result.
Select "Vehicle".
The main area is active.
To select the "Easy-entry/exit fea-
ture" menu: slide or turn ymz.
