COMAND seats

Lumbar support

The components and operating principles of
COMAND can be found on ( page 61).
The lumbar support in the backrest of the
front seats can be adjusted to provide op-
timum support for your back.
Press the O button.
The main area of the COMAND display
is active. A scale appears.

To move to the lower menu line:
slide qmr.
To select the seat: slide
ymz.
To confirm the selection: press n.

When you press the O function button,
the previously set seat is active.
To adjust the lumbar support: slide
or turn

Multi-contour seat*

The components and operating principles of
COMAND can be found on ( page 61).
The contour of the front seat backrests can
be individually adjusted to provide opti-
mum support for your back. This is
achieved by controlling the pressure in the
air chambers in the multi-contour seat.
The adjustments are made using the
COMAND display.

When you adjust the multi-contour seat, you
may hear the air being pumped in or released.
You can adjust the following air cushions:
Seat cushion side bolsters
Thigh support cushion
Backrest side cushions
or turn

Backrest curvature in the lumbar re-
gion
until the desired set-
ymz

Backrest curvature in the upper back
region
Seat firmness
Make sure that the key is in position 2
in the ignition lock.
Press the O button.
Selecting the seat
You must first select the seat for which you
wish to make adjustments.
Press the O button.
The main area is active.
To move to the lower menu line:
slide qmr.
