Possible cause/consequence
You have depressed the accelerator
pedal, Distronic* is no longer control-
ling the speed of the vehicle.
You tried to call up a stored speed,
but no speed has been stored.
You attempted to activate Distronic*
at a speed below 30 km/h.
ESP ® is deactivated.
Transmission position P, R or N has
been selected.
The vehicle is secured with the elec-
tric parking brake.
Possible solution
Release the accelerator pedal.
Store a speed ( page 303).
Drive faster than 30 km/h and store the
speed.
Activate ESP ® .
Move the transmission selector lever to
D.
Release the electric parking brake.
