Narrow vehicles

Distronic Plus has still not detected the ve-
hicle in front on the edge of the carriage-
way because it is relatively narrow. The
distance to this vehicle will be too short.

Obstacles and stationary vehicles
P54.70-2337-31
Distronic Plus does not brake for obstacles
or stationary vehicles. If the vehicle you
are following turns a corner, for example,
and there is an obstacle or a stationary ve-
hicle beyond it, Distronic Plus will not bring
your vehicle to a halt before this obstacle
or stationary vehicle.
Cross traffic

Distronic Plus may incorrectly acquire a
signal from a vehicle crossing your own
path. If you activate Distronic Plus while
stopped at traffic lights with traffic cross-
ing, for example, your vehicle may inad-
vertently pull away.
