With input characters 4, you can only se-
lect the digits that are currently available. Which
these are depends on the current input string
and the data contained on the digital map.
During the digit selection procedure de-
scribed below, list entry 3 always shows
a house number that most closely matches
the current input string. COMAND then au-
tomatically adds plausible digits 2 to
those already entered by the user 1 to
complete a house number.
To select a digit: slide
omp
ymz.
To confirm the digit selection: press
n.
To delete individual digits: select )
in the bottom line and press n.
To delete an entire entry: select ) in
the bottom line and press and hold n
until the entire entry has been deleted.
To accept the first list entry: press
and hold n until the address input
menu appears.
COMAND has automatically accepted
the first list entry and entered it in the
address input menu.
To cancel an entry: select "Back" in
the bottom line and press n.
or
Press the L back button.
or turn If COMAND is able to assign the digits en-
tered unambiguously to a specific house
number, input characters 4 disappear.
You will see the house number list without
input characters. Here you can make an-
other selection.
It is also possible to change to the house
number list without input characters man-
ually at any time during digit input.
To change manually to the house
number list without input charac-
ters: slide qm.

Select ? in the second to bottom line
and press n.
