Frequency low pass filter 2

There is a critically damped low-pass filter for suppression of disturbances. The diagram
below shows the step response of the filter (f = 2 Hz). The entry "0" means that the filter is
switched off. A limit frequency of between 0.01 and 20.0 Hz can be specified.

The definition of the limit frequency is extremely important for suppression of disturbances.
Defining the limit frequency defines the "speed" of the scale's response to changes in the
measured value.
For example, a value of 5 Hz results in a relatively rapid response of the scale to a change in
weight while a value of 0.5 Hz makes the scale "slower".

Order no. low pass filter 2

The order number of the filter defines the effect of damping. The values 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 can
be specified. The higher the selected order number, the stronger the filter acts.
