BACKGROUND MUSIC

An external music source such as a FM tuner may be connected to the
system to provide background music either through the speaker in the phone
or an external paging system. The music is automatically turned off if the
phone or external paging system is in use. When Background Music (BGM)
is active, the BGM will play through the telephone speaker as well as the
Bluetooth Headset on the IX-5810 Digital Key Telephone.
Note: Not supported on IP telephones.
Operation
To turn on Background Music through your phone:
Press the Feature button FEAT then dial
Or
Press the Background Music button BGM if assigned as a
Multipurpose button and the lamp will be solid red
To turn off Background Music through your phone:
Press the Feature button FEAT then dial
Or
Press the Background Music button BGM if assigned as a
Multipurpose button and the lamp will be off

BARGE-IN

Allows you to enter an existing call. A warning tone is sent to inform the
parties that a three-way conference has been established.
Operation
Dial the desired extension number
Or
Press the desired outside line button
Press the Add button ADD
