NOTE: The Intel Xeon Phi 72XXF processor needs a fabric cable, a side band cable, and a carrier card to be able to fully
utilise all the connectivity features.
Use the following procedure when:

Removing the fabric cable from the processor

Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3.
Remove the sled from the enclosure.
4.
Remove the air shroud.
Steps
1.
Pull the white tab on the fabric connector to release the connector from the processor base plate.
2.
Slide the connector away from the processor to disengage and release it from the processor.
