RealPresence Media Suite Connection Methods

The following connection methods are supported for dialing a RealPresence Media Suite.
Media Suite
Type Connection Method
Media Suite If the RealPresence Group system is not registered to
system the gatekeeper or to a SIP server, dial the
RealPresence Media Suite IP address.
If the RealPresence Group system is registered to the
gatekeeper, dial the RealPresence Media Suite E.164
extension for H.323.
If the RealPresence Group system is registered to a
SIP server, dial the RealPresence Media Suite SIP
address.
VRR For H.323 calls:
[RealPresence Media Suite IP]##[VRR number]
or
[RealPresence Media Suite E.164 prefix][VRR number]
For SIP calls:
[VRR number]@[RealPresence Media Suite IP]
or
[SIP peer prefix][VRR number]

RealPresence Media Suite TVUI Interface

When you establish a connection to a RealPresence Media Suite, the TV Interface (TVUI) with buttons and
far-end controls appear.
Unless the administrator for the RealPresence Media Suite has disabled the Start Recording Immediately
option, the recording starts immediately after the TVUI opens.
You can dial a RealPresence Media Suite and activate the controls on the TVUI using your remote control
or a supported touch device.
RealPresence Media Suite DTMF Codes
You can use the RealPresence Group system local interface to start, pause, resume, stop, and playback a
RealPresence Media Suite recording.
Note: Recommended recording procedure
Polycom recommends that you record using the RealPresence Media Suite User Portal for ease of use.

If the SIP peer prefix of the
