CHASSIS BOLTS AND NUTS

Tighten initially at 1 000 km (5 months) and every 4 000 km (20 months) thereafter.
Check that all chassis bolts and nuts are tightened to their specified torque. (Refer to page 2-23 for the loca-
tions of the following bolts and nuts on the motorcycle.)
1 Pillion footrest bracket lower bolt
2 Footrest mounting bolt
3 Front fork clamp bolt
4 Handlebar clamp nut
5 Steering stem nut
6 Front axle nut
7 Brake disc bolt
8 Air bleeder valve
9 Brake caliper mounting bolt
0 Brake hose union bolt
A Master cylinder mounting bolt
B Swingarm pivot nut
C Rear shock absorber mounting bolts (Upper and Lower)
D Rear axle nut
E Brake cam lever nut
F Torque link nut
