• If the ET sensor ohmic value does not change in the propor-
tion indicated, replace it with a new one.

* Take special care when handling the ET sensor. It
may cause damage if it gets a sharp impact.
* Do not contact the ET sensor and the column ther-
mometer with a pan.

ET SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

• Remove the rear center leg shield. (#5-6).
• Disconnect the coupler 1.
• Remove the ET sensor 2.
• Install the ET sensor in the reverse order of removal.
+ ET sensor: 9 N·m (0.9 kgf-m)

TO SENSOR INSPECTION

The tip-over sensor is located in front of the starter relay.
