INSPECTION

SHOCK ABSORBER
Inspect the rear shock absorber for damage and oil leakage.
If any defects are found, replace the rear shock absorber with a
new one.

Do not attempt to disassemble the rear shock
absorber unit. It is unserviceable.
SPACER AND BUSH
Inspect the spacers and bushes for wear and damage.
If any defects are found, replace the spacer or bush with a new
one.

REASSEMBLY AND REMOUNTING

Reassemble and remount the rear shock absorber in the
reverse order of removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the
following points:
• Tighten the rear shock absorber upper mounting bolts 1 and
rear shock absorber lower bolts 2 to the specified torque.
" Rear shock absorber upper mounting bolt:
Rear shock absorber lower mounting bolt:
28.5 N·m (2.85 kgf-m)
28.5 N·m (2.85 kgf-m)
