• Remove the kick starter shaft 3 by turning the shaft.

CRANKCASE

BEARING INSPECTION
• Inspect the play of the crankcase bearings by finger while
they are in the wheel. Rotate the inner race by finger to
inspect for abnormal noise and smooth rotation.
• Replace the bearing in the following procedure if there is any-
thing unusual.
RIGHT CRANKCASE BEARING REMOVAL
NOTE:
If there is no abnormal condition, the bearing removal is not nec-
essary.
• Remove the bearing retainer 1.
• Remove the right crankcase bearings with the special tools.
