Sewing Test
After threading make a sewing test on a double layer
of fabric to check the stitch formation and the thread
tension.

Cover stitch sewing test.

- Plug the machine in and switch it on (power switch
to "I")
- Set the tensions to 3-5.
- Set the stitch length to 3.
- Set the differential feed to N.
- Raise the presser foot and place the fabric under
foot and needles (A).
- Lower the presser foot.
- Turn the handwheel counterclockwise for the first
stitch.
- Sew.
- When sewing is completed, turn the handwheel
counter clockwise to bring the needles into their
low est position (B).
- Then turn the handwheel clockwise to raise the
needles to their highest position. This releases the
needle threads from the looper.
- Raise the presser foot.
- Remove the work carefully towards the left.
- Cut the threads over the thread cutter (C).
Chainstitch sewing test.
- Plug the machine in and switch it on (power switch
to "I")
- Set the tensions to 3-5.
- Set the stitch length to 3.
- Set the differential feed to N.
- Raise the presser foot and place the fabric under
foot and needle.(A)
- Lower the presser foot.
- Turn the handwheel counterclockwise for the first
stitch.
- Sew.
- When sewing is completed, sew over the fabric
edge, to produce a chain approx. 8cm (3") long (D).
- Remove the work carefully towards the left.
- Cut the chain-off thread over the thread cutter (C).
Costura de prueba del punto de cobertura y
regulación del punto
Después del enhebrado, hacer una costura de prueba
sobre dos capas de tela para controlar la formación
y la tensión del punto.
Costura de prueba
- Enchufar la máquina y conectarla (interruptor princi
pal a „I")
- Regular las tensiones de los hilos: entre 3 y 5.
- Regular el largo del punto: 3.
- Transporte diferencial: N.
- Subir el prensatelas y colocar el tejido debajo del
prensatelas y de las agujas (A).
- Bajar el prensatelas.
- Girar el volante para clavar la aguja en el tejido.
- Coser.
- Al terminar la costura, girar el volante en el sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta que las agujas
estén en su posición más baja, después girar el
volante en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para
subir las agujas. Esta maniobra suelta los hilos de
las agujas de la lanzadera (B).
- Subir el prensatelas.
- Sacar cuidadosamente la labor por la parte
izquierda.
- Cortar los hilos pasándolos por el corta-hilos (C).
Costura de prueba–punto de cadeneta
- Enchufar la máquina y conectarla (interruptor princi
pal a „I")
- Regular las tensiones de los hilos: entre 3 y 5.
- Regular el largo del punto: 3.
- Transporte diferencial: N.
- Subir el prensatelas y colocar el tejido debajo del
prensatelas y de las agujas (A).
- Bajar el prensatelas.
- Girar el volante para clavar la aguja en el tejido.
- Coser.
- Al terminar la costura, continuar cosiendo pasando
por el borde hasta formar una cadena de hilo (D).
- Sacar cuidadosamente la labor por la parte
izquierda.
- Cortar los hilos pasándolos por el corta-hilos (C).

Après l'enfilage, effectuer un essai de couture sur un
tissu double, enfin de vérifier la formation du point et
la tension de fil.
Test de couture
- Brancher la machine et l'enclencher (commutateur
rincipal I).
- Réglage des tensions de fil: entre 3 et 5.
- Réglage de la longueur de point: 3.
- Réglage du mécanisme d'avance différentiel: N.
- Soulever le pied-de-biche et placer le tissu sous le
pied et les aiguilles (A).
- Abaisser le pied-de-biche.
- Tourner le volant à la main pour planter l'aiguille.
- Coudre.
- A l'extrémité de la couture, tourner le volant en sens
inverse des aiguilles d'une montre pour amener les
aiguilles dans leur position la plus basse. Puis, tourner
le volant dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre
pour amener les aiguilles dans leur position la plus
haute. Ceci libère les fils d'aiguille du boucleur (B).
- Soulever le pied-de-biche.
- Enlever l'ouvrage avec précaution par la gauche.
- Couper les fils en passant par-dessus le coupe-fil
(C).
Test du point de chaînette
- Brancher la machine et l'enclencher (commutateur
principal I).
- Réglage des tensions de fil: entre 3 et 5.
- Réglage de la longueur de point: 3.
- Réglage du mécanisme d'avance à différentiel: N.
- Soulever le pied-de-biche et placer le tissu sous le
pied et les aiguilles (A).
- Abaisser le pied-de-biche.
- Tourner le volant à la main pour planter l'aiguille.
- Coudre.
- A l'extrémité de la couture, continuer au-delà du
tissu pour qu'il se constitue une chaînette de fil
d'env.8cm(D).
- Déplacer l'ouvrage avec précaution par la gauche
et couper la chaînette de fil par-dessus le coupe-fil
(C).
Prova di cucitura
Al termine dell'infilatura fare una prova di cucitura su
due strati di stoffa per controllare la formazione del
punto e la tensione.
Punto di copertura, prova di cucito
- Collegare la macchina alla corrente, accendere
mettendo l'interruttore principale su "I".
- Regolare le tensioni su 3-5.
- Regolare la lunghezza del punto su 3.
- Differenziale su N.
- Alzare il piedino e posizionare la stoffa sotto il piedino
e aghi (A).
- Abbassare il piedino.
- Per fare il primo punto, girare il volantino.
- Cucire.
- Al termine della cucitura girare il volantino nel senso
antiorario, portando gli aghi nella posizione più
bassa, poi girare il volantino nel senso orario per
alzare gli aghi (posizione più alta). I fili degli aghi
vengono liberati dal crochet (B)
- Alzare il piedino.
- Tirare la stoffa con cautela verso sinistra.
- Tagliare i fili con il tagliafilo incorporato (C).
Punto catenella, prova di cucitura
- Collegare la macchina alla corrente, accendere
l'interruttore principale su "I".
- Regolare le tensioni su 3-5.
- Lunghezza del punto su 3.
- Differenziale su N.
- Alzare il piedino e posizionare la stoffa sotto il piedino
ed aghi (A).
- Abbassare il piedino.
- Per fare il primo punto girare il volantino.
- Cucire.
- Continuare la cucitura oltre il margine della stoffa
per creare una catenella di circa 8 cm.(D).
- Alzare il piedino e tirare la stoffa con cautela verso
sinistra.
- Tagliare i fili con il tagliafilo incorporato (C).
