Installing Configuration Tool

The following four types of plug-ins are available for Configuration Tool.
User Setting Plug-in
Alert Info Plug-in
Network Setting Plug-in
Storage Manager Plug-in
1.
Insert the "Software DVD-ROM" into a computer.
A window is displayed.

When [AutoPlay] is displayed, click [Run Setup.exe].
Memo
If the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, click [Yes].

Select a language from the drop-down list.
4.
Read the license agreement, and then click [Agree].
5.
Click [Next].
6.
Select the model of the printer, and then click [Next].
7.
Select [Network (Wired/Wireless)], and then click [Next].
8.
Click [Custom Install].
9.
Click [Separate Install].
10.
Click [Configuration Tool].
11.
If necessary, select a plug-in you want to install.
12.
Specify the folder in which to install the software.
The default setting is "C:\Program Files\Okidata\Configuration Tool".
13.
Click [Install].
14.
When a message indicating the completion of the installation is displayed, click [Close].
Memo
Plug-ins can be installed later.
