Paper Requirements
You can load the following plain paper in the multi-purpose tray:

Once you have decided which paper you want to load, be sure to do the following:
• Check that your paper is compatible with the copier/fax. (1 p. 5-3)
• Check that the paper size setting of the multi-purpose tray is set for the paper size
you are loading. (1 PAPER SIZE, p. 14-7)
• Check that you have loaded the paper correctly in the multi-purpose tray. (1 p. 2-15)

For optimum printing results, always leave
the paper thickness lever inside the ADF
(Automatic Document Feeder) set to p (left).

Do not set the paper thickness lever while
the copier/fax is printing since this will
cause problems.
