8.2.2 Object References

When a configuration screen includes an Object Reference icon, select a configuration object and
click Object Reference to open the Object References screen. This screen displays which
configuration settings reference the selected object. The fields shown vary with the type of object.

8.2.3 Add DHCPv6 Request Options

When you configure an interface as a DHCPv6 client, you can additionally add DHCPv6 request
options which have the NXC to add more information in the DHCPv6 packets. To open the screen,
click Configuration > Network > Interface > Ethernet > Edit, set DHCPv6 to Client in the
DHCPv6 Setting section, and then click Add in the DHCPv6 Request Options table.
Select a DHCPv6 request object in the Select one object field and click OK to save it. Click Cancel
to exit without saving the setting.
Chapter 8 Interfaces
DESCRIPTION
This identifies the object for which the configuration settings that use it are displayed. Click
the object's name to display the object's configuration screen in the main window.
This field is a sequential value, and it is not associated with any entry.
This is the type of setting that references the selected object. Click a service's name to
display the service's configuration screen in the main window.
If it is applicable, this field lists the referencing configuration item's position in its list,
otherwise N/A displays.
This field identifies the configuration item that references the object.
If the referencing configuration item has a description configured, it displays here.
Click this to update the information in this screen.
Click Cancel to close the screen.
