Individual settings
7. Repeat the setting steps if necessary.
8. Tighten the counternuts.
 The inner slider inclination is set.
Set the downforce pressure
The downforce pressure is set via a pressure reducer. The pressure
reducer is located on the left side of the upper section.
Correct setting
Set the downforce pressure so that the sewing material is held securely.
Set the pressure as low as possible.

1. Pull the rotary knob (4) on the pressure reducer (6) upward.
 The red marking (5) is visible.

Use the Multitest menu to check the setting ( 3.16 Testing inputs
and outputs, page 73):

4. Switch output element Y5 on and off to check the pressure of the inner

• To reduce pressure: Turn the rotary knob (4) counterclockwise.
