Setting steps
1. Loosen the screw (3).
2. Turn the pivot shaft so that the distance between throat plate and presser
3. Tighten the screw (3).
4. Turn the presser foot to top dead center.
 The distance between the throat plate and presser foot must be 5 mm.
5. Release the nut (2).
6. Adjust the screw (1) so that the distance between the throat plate and

presser foot is 5 mm (corresponding to a 4 mm presser foot stroke).
Note
The distance between min. and max. positions may have to be deter-
mined. If one of these settings is changed the other setting must be
checked again.
