Important
Set the inclination as low as possible. An excessively high inclination can
lead to a collision with the inner slider when the transfer plate transfers the
sewing material.
Set the downforce pressure
The downforce pressure is set via a pressure reducer.
Correct setting
Set the downforce pressure so that the sewing material is held and trans-
ported securely. Set the pressure as low as possible.

Setting steps
1. Pull the rotary knob (4) on the pressure reducer (6) upward.
 The red marking (5) is visible.
2. Setting the pressure.
3. Checking the setting.
4. Press the rotary knob (4) on the pressure reducer (6) down.
 The red marking (5) is no longer visible.

The pressure setting is unlocked.
• To increase pressure: Turn the rotary knob (4) clockwise.
• To reduce pressure: Turn the rotary knob (4) counterclockwise.
• Use the foot pedal to raise and lower the transfer plate.
The pressure setting is locked.
The downforce pressure on the transfer plate is set.
