Changing the front panel module

The front panel module consists of the front panel board, a control panel and a bracket. These
components are already pre-assembled.
As well as the CPU and casing temperature sensors of the mainboard, the front panel has its own
sensor for the ambient temperature. If the temperature sensor for the ambient temperature becomes
defective, the front panel board must be changed.

Removing the front panel module

CAUTION!
!
Do not change the front panel module at the same time as the mainboard is changed. If
both components are changed at the same time, the restore of the system configuration
data onto the mainboard can fail.
Requirements:
● The device is shut down (see section "Shutting down the device").
● The device is removed from the rack (see section "Pulling out or removing the device from the
rack").
● The casing is open (see section "Opening the device").
