Removing a defective fan module
Requirements:

The device is removed from the rack (see section "Pulling out or removing the device from the
rack").
●
The casing is open (see section "Opening the device").
CAUTION!
!
The fans are powerful, high-speed models. Never remove the fans during operation,
because there is an increased risk of injury in doing so.
►
Pull the connector of the fan module out of the socket of the fan cable.
